Spice of Life w/Suga Q&A Session 14

Dear Suga,
I love my boyfriend but I’m starting to notice that he drinks an awful lot. From morning til night he’s drinking. I even discovered that he drinks at work as well. I’m afraid that he has a real problem. What should I do?
Sincerely,
Worried Girlfriend Continue reading

Despicable Me

As a parent I am having trouble reading the research for this article. And even more trouble writing it. Children are frustrating. That is the one thing I pass on to any new mom. Patience is something you have to have when you’re a parent, especially the parent of a child who can’t talk to communicate their needs. I can’t say that as they get older it gets any easier because when they do learn to communicate they tend to have their own little personality which can have different tones and attitudes. But no matter what my kids have dished out at me I have never wished them dead or tried to kill them.  Continue reading

Spice of Life w/Suga Q&A Session 12

Dear Suga,

I am a 35 year-old mother of 4. Lately I’ve been considering going back to school. I’m beginning to feel unfilled at work and I think I’m ready to try something different. Am I too old for a career change?

Sincerely,

Dream Chaser Continue reading

Jodi Arias and Travis Alexander when they first met

Have you ever met someone that you clicked with and thought it was meant to be? That’s what happened in the case of Jodi Arias and Travis Alexander. Unfortunately it was this meeting that would eventually end his life. Continue reading

Affluenza or Misogynist?

At the start of the holiday weekend you may have heard of Elliot Rodger. He turned out to be the shooter near the UCSB campus who killed 6 people and wounded another 13 before taking his own life as police closed in. The only thing I am trying to figure out about him was did he suffer from affluenza or was he a misogynist? Maybe it was a combination of both. Continue reading

My Journey to Motherhood

A Spice of Life w/ Suga: Q&A Session 8

tiredQ&A Session 8

Q: Dear Suga,

I work in an office and my husband works in a factory. I know that his job is physically more demanding than mine but why every time I say I’m tired he makes it seems as if that’s not possible working in an office? It really bothers me because I feel like he thinks that he doesn’t have to help around the house because of the job he does.

Sincerely,

Physically Tired Too Continue reading
