The Amador Memoirs: Rumble Young Man Rumble

image

It has been a very interesting period of my life as of late.Everything from near death experiences to scrapping the bottom to get a feel of what it is to pursue life correctly. And I have learned many new things.First and foremost I learned that sometimes it is hard to look yourself in the mirror. When lifting up rugs from the past , you end up seeing that everything swept under still remains there.I became and continue to be afraid of those past habits , doubts ,fears and painful mistakes I placed under there . Many years ago I started a journey that has cost me many things .Family, friends, my self awareness. My inability to process reality from ambition makes me pay a high price. This is how I have began to transition from being just another dreamer to a man with a passion to succeed By Any Means Necessary.

Then a few years later I lost my grandmother on September 11, 2004. This marks 10 years that I have been trying to deal with a loss that is so profound there are no words.  Continue reading

Helena Gudell’s WONDERLAND: Stupid is as Stupid Does

I was always told “an idle mind is the Devil’s playground” when I was growing up. That being said I was always given a book or a sketch pad or something to keep me busy. If I wasn’t outside playing I was doing something constructive. I was creating something or reading a book. Now it seems kids lack an imagination. I know that people will blame it on technology and say that we’re too busy with social networking and video games to be creative but in fact that isn’t the point. When we were growing up we had chat rooms. we had computers, we had an ever evolving game console. The difference was we had parents who set limits. Now kids are given everything in the world they want and they have no creativity. So they do stupid shit to try and make it big on social media or YouTube.  Continue reading
